Because of a need...
We have observed organization after organization during our two decades of business and project experience, trying to keep up with the ever-increasing changes in customer's expectations, market shifts, technology explosion and regulation enforcement. Repeatedly organizations have exhausted not only their financial resources but also their people resources attempting to stay viable in today's business environment.
The failures or marginal successes were not because of complex initiatives (e.g. Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management, Process Re-Engineering, new business systems, regulation compliance, or new product development) or the lack of need within the organization. It usually was not because of ineffective consulting or poor project management. It was rarely because of the missing desire or willingness by the organization.
Failure and mediocrity of projects arose because of the lack of preparedness within the organization.
The initiatives were not aligned, understood or communicated in light of the strategic plan. The managers and project members where not given the skills to be an effective team, set timely goals, solve problems effectively, and make decisions quickly. The organization culture was not conducive to sustaining the change. There was little effort given to help everyone in the organization understand and adopt the change and see his or her role in its success.
Because of this need, Anchor Business Consulting was launched. Bringing together the broad, diverse business and training experience with a proven development process to impact individuals, organizations, and the results of tomorrow by "Developing Leaders for Today's Business".
