Have you achieved sustainable success?

Performance excellence can only be achieved when all components are in place, in balance and aligned through out the organization.

1. Every successful organization is seeking loyal, satisfied customers. This translates to repeat business and quality referrals, which provides sustainable success.

2. Customers become loyal and satisfied because of their experience with the organization through “moments of truth”. Moments of truth are expressions through words and actions that tells the customer how much you really care about them. Consistent and quality moments of truth are given by your satisfied internal customers.

3. The satisfied internal customers must be supported by a clear business strategy that establishes the vision, values and goals of the business. All levels of the organization must communicate and practice the strategy on a consistent basis and this is accomplished through leadership systems and operations systems.

4. Leadership systems involve knowledge transfer through education and the technical training of skills, which is the primary focus of most organizations. Another key leadership system is the development of people with such areas as problem solving, decision-making, communication techniques, management, planning and goal setting.

5. Operational systems consist of area such as policies and procedures, process flows, regulation compliance, financial control, and management reporting. Many cost saving and quality improvement initiatives like Lean and Total Quality Management have help organizations to focus on these systems.

Successful organizations are continually looking for ways and areas to improve in order to gain a competitive advantage. Two critical questions that are often asked by senior management are: how do we know that resources are being properly allocated, and how can we better utilize our limited resources? These questions moved us to examine the whole issue of what are the critical elements, which contribute to organizational success. As a result of this examination, we discovered that when an organization's systems and departments are aligned, the greater their success.

Organizations that learn to identify new relationships between what they do and the results they seek can further increase the gap between themselves and their competitors. This is important in today’s business environment. Constant radical change, uncertainty, new rules and regulations, increased customer demands, and “alphabet soup programs” proliferate our daily business environment. How to manage it and how to thrive under these conditions depends a greater deal upon how well your organization is aligned. Download PDF »

Progress creates challenge, and the challenge facing management today is: developing an organization that can meet tomorrow's goals while continuing to meet the daily challenges of today. To balance these organizational demands, managers need a systematic approach to their jobs. They need Management Development.

Management Development involves the what and how of training and understanding the why of a situation. The result is managers who are working because they want to and because they understand why and how they are essential to the organization's goals. These managers know that the goals can be achieved, obstacles can be overcome and problems can be solved.

This program makes Management Development not only possible, but eminently profitable. Individually, each manager reflects the behavior and attitude of a goal-directed manager. Collectively they form a powerful force that literally assures the achievement of corporate goals.Download PDF »
